FeedTide (operated by Won Hur, Honolulu, Hawaii) makes Instagram content for small businesses. This page explains what we collect and why. Short version: we collect what we need to do the work, and nothing else.

What we collect

When you sign up

Your email address (to sign you in and send previews)
Your business details from the onboarding form: business name, category, location, website, booking link, tone, and anything you tell us never to say

When you upload

Photos and logos you send us, so we can use them in your posts

When you connect Instagram (Basic and Pro plans)

An access token from Instagram, your Instagram user ID, and your username
We never receive or store your Instagram password
On Pro plans, comments and messages on your posts, so we can reply on your behalf

When you pay

Stripe handles your payment. We see your subscription status and the last four digits of your card. We never see your full card number.

We don't use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or cookies beyond one sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in.

What we do with it

Only three things:

Make and deliver your posts
Publish to your Instagram, if you're on a plan that includes it and you've approved the post
Contact you about your account — previews to approve, billing, and support

We don't sell your data. We don't share it for advertising. We don't use your business data to train AI models.

How long we keep it

While you're a customer, and for 12 months after you cancel — in case you come back or need copies of past work.

Your Instagram token is deleted as soon as you cancel or disconnect. You can also remove our access yourself at any time: Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites → remove FeedTide Publisher. That takes effect immediately and doesn't require us.

Ask us to delete your data sooner and we'll do it within 30 days.

Your choices

See what we have: email us and we'll send it
Fix something: change it in your portal, or tell us
Delete it: email us — we'll confirm when it's done
Take it with you: everything we made for you is yours to keep

Security

Your data lives on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Access tokens are stored with restricted access and used only to publish your posts. We keep the number of people who can reach your data at one: the person doing your work.

If we ever have a breach that affects you, we'll tell you promptly and directly.

Children

FeedTide is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and email you if the change matters to how your data is used.
